  • Osvaldo Mariscotti revels in visual simplicity, finding beauty in combinations of conventional materials and forms. He often blurs the boundaries between mediums, reimagining and redefining what a painting, sculpture, drawing, print, or installation can be. Over the course of four decades, the artist has been a restless investigator of time and motion, with language playing a central role in his practice. Inspired by the artist's latest series of paintings, Seasons, this brand new screenprint edition incorporates the artist's signature elements of repetition and informal abstraction.

"Hard-edge is just as important as gestural in my body of work, as on a personal level, they complement each other and allow me to achieve equilibrium. I like to think of my work as highly emotional, and so, each line and color is meant to evoke something different in the viewer."
