This intimate talk offered rare insight into Eve Arnold’s enduring legacy, her humanistic approach to photography, and her pioneering role as one of the first female members of Magnum Photos. Michael’s personal reflections illuminated the depth of Eve’s career, from her powerful portraits of Malcolm X and Marilyn Monroe to her unflinching documentation of social and political change across the globe.
This event was held in conjunction with our critically acclaimed photography exhibition, Unseen Narratives, on view through Saturday, July 12, 2025. The show features works by Eve Arnold, Brothtarn (Sean O'Connell), and Laura Chen, presenting powerful visual storytelling through rarely exhibited prints.
