Press Release Text
Upsilon Gallery announces The Cove, a new dedicated space for intimate, experimental encounters with contemporary art and creative practice.
Developed from the observation that some of the most compelling cultural experiences take place on a smaller, more intimate scale, The Cove occupies the gallery’s existing alcove as a space with its own identity, audience and rhythm.
Presented alongside the gallery’s main exhibition programme, The Cove provides emerging artists, curators and collaborators with a flexible setting to explore ideas, processes, and projects outside the conventional format of a full-scale exhibition.
The initiative extends Upsilon Gallery’s commitment to supporting emerging voices and creating opportunities for exchange between artists, curators and audiences. It also strengthens the gallery’s engagement with London’s contemporary art community, offering a space for experimentation, dialogue and discovery in the heart of Mayfair.
Through an evolving programme of focused presentations and collaborative projects, The Cove invites visitors to encounter new perspectives and creative practices in a more immediate and intimate setting.
